You may be curious to know something about the owner of this apartment... the face behind the site! Although I won't let you see the face I can assure you that I really am English and have been living in Taormina since 1966! I am happily married to a local Taorminese and we have one son (and three rescue cats!) During my early years here I worked in the hotel business then for many years I helped to run a car rental business. Once my son grew out of me, I decided to return to work enjoying a season in the admin office of the local Italian Language School. Home commitments made it difficult to continue, so I try to keep my hand in with international contacts by renting out my special holiday apartment, which, I'm proud to say, is my 'creation' since it was rather a wreck when acquired in 2005 and took a lot of effort to lovingly restore to a high standard. Now it just needs you to enjoy staying in it as much as I enjoyed creating it for you.
